We Are Not Alone

We Are Not Alone

We Are Not Alone

“The Lord is my portion; therefore, I will put my hope in him.”

Lamentations 3:24

Have you ever wanted to give up because it seems like no one cares? Or have you ever been in a situation where even when you did your best, you still came up short? We all experience times in our lives when no matter what we do, it seems like we just cannot get ahead. Feelings of rejection, the betrayal of friends, sickness and unexpected illnesses, death of loved ones and just the normal day-to-day stressors in life can rob us of our hope. Prolonged situations of pain and despair can cause a feeling of hopelessness.  Don’t give up! Don’t ever lose hope!

It is during these dark and low times that we must keep hope alive! Hope causes us to look beyond our present circumstances even when we cannot see the positive outcome we desire. It is hope that reminds us that we are never alone. Hope causes us to recognize the presence of God. God is always with us! Because GOD is!... We have a major reason to be hopeful.

God always has a strategy to get us through whatever we are facing no matter how things may look or how bad our situation may get. God made a promise to us many years ago that He will never leave or forsake us. He sealed His promise with the blood of His only son, Jesus. We are precious to God, and we can be confident that we never face any situation alone. We can turn to God in our times of despair. The Bible says that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). God has all power in His hands. We must simply choose not to fear and trust His plan. His plan is always the best plan for us! His love for us runs deep and never runs out. Because of God’s Love, we can have hope. We can live in peace and the assurance that better days lie ahead.

God will never give up on us so let us not give up on Him. Let us have hope and share hope with the world around us - every day!
