Thank You Jesus!
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us,
that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21)
So many of us celebrated Easter recently. It was a time for us to pause with family and friends and reflect on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. I am and will forever be grateful for the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for me and all of mankind. Jesus is our Lord and Savior, my Forever King! Instead of exercising His power to save himself, Jesus chose to finish the work that God sent Him to do at Calvary. His life, death and resurrection changed our lives forever. Without a doubt, Jesus’ story is the greatest love story ever.
We should continue to share Jesus’ story of love for mankind with others this whole year. The story reminds us of God’s never-ending love for us. God showed His deep love for us by sending Jesus, his only son, to earth to save us. And Jesus died a painful death on a cross at Calvary before He returned to heaven to live with God. He shed His blood for our sins and to save all mankind. It was Jesus’ blood that set us free! Through the blood of Christ, we have been redeemed. We can live a new life. A life filled with hope and joy instead of sin, guilt, and shame. Let go and Surrender!
Now is a perfect time to pause and think. How many of us would be willing to do what Jesus did? Jesus’ sacrifice and acts of love are priceless! God loves us so much! We should reflect daily on His love for us. We should thank Him daily for His love. It is because of His love; we can now live in abundance and peace. Jesus’ death and his resurrection three days later did something that no other person or animal was able to do. It is the blood of Jesus that gives us access to God and His everlasting love. And there is no greater love!
Jesus’ story should change the way we live and think every day. Our hearts matter deeply. We should allow the love of God to refresh us every morning. Let us choose to live in peace with one another. Let us walk in love. And let us begin each day with gratitude as we reflect daily on Jesus’ love and remember to say, “Thank You Jesus!”
