Just for You
“But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” I Peter 1:19
Have you ever had someone give you a gift when you were not expecting it? Or maybe you have had someone to do something special for you when you felt deep down inside that you really did not deserve it. That person’s actions made you feel special because they went out of their way to do something “Just for You.” Well, that is exactly what Jesus did for all of humankind when he died on Calvary’s cross. He made the ultimate sacrifice to Let Life Live. It was not the nails that kept Jesus on the cross. But it was his love for humanity. Jesus had a desire to see each of us lead happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.
We have so much we can learn from Jesus’ example and His expression of love. First, we must make a conscious effort to choose love, empathy, and understanding over hatred. We must decide to have patience with others who may be different from us. And, starting today, right now, we must make up our mind to be someone who chooses to show kindness every day.
May we never forget the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for each of us. May we always remember the compassion and love Jesus showed. Remember…Jesus did it “Just for You.”
Together, we can choose kindness over hatred and let life live more abundantly.
